Champions: Eastmark Firebirds take 3A State Football Championship

The Queen Creek Bulldogs lost their 6A State Football Championship playoff game Nov. 25, 24-14, to the Pinnaccle Pioneers in Phoenix. Now, Chandler Unified's Casteel Colts move on to play at home in Queen Creek against Pinnacle this Friday, Dec. 2 at 7 p.m.

The Eastmark High School football Firebirds are state champions after beating the Thatcher Eagles, 42-21, in last night's 3A State Football Championship game. It was just three years ago that this team started their first varsity football season with a 41-6 loss and now they are the 3A champions.

Unfortunately, the American Leadership Academy-Queen Creek Patriots lost their away playoff game, 31-25, on Nov. 25 to the Basha Bears in Chandler.

The Queen Creek Bulldogs also lost their 6A State Football Championship playoff game Friday, 24-14, to the Pinnaccle Pioneers in Phoenix.

Now, Chandler Unified's Casteel Colts move on to play at home in Queen Creek against Pinnacle this Friday, Dec. 2 at 7 p.m. in the 6A State Football Championship. Casteel High School is located in Queen Creek at 24901 S. Power Road.
