The Emery boys swim team grabbed another first place finish at home on Tuesday as they welcomed Carbon, Grand and Gunnison Valley to Castle Dale. The Lady Spartans finished the day in second.

Behind Emery it was Carbon finishing the day in second place, followed by Grand and Gunnison.

For the Spartans it was all about the relays with the team of Bryant Durrant, Alex Fredrick, Parker Jensen and Will Stilson grabbing  a top finish in the 200 medley, Durrant, Jacob Fauver, Tyler Frandsen and Kade Larsen earned a second place finish in the 200 free, and in the 400 Fauver, Frandsen, Fredrick and Larsen swam their way to a third place finish.

There were also a lot of stellar individual performances for the boys. Larsen went on to claim first place in the 100 free and a third place finish in the 200 individual medley. Frandsen earned a second place in the 100 back stroke and a third in the 100 fly. Fredrick claimed the second spot in the 500 free and a third place in the 200 free. Durrant earned a second place in the 100 free, Fauver  had a second in the 100 fly, Jensen had a third place finish in the 100 breast stroke, and Adam Olsen earned a third place finish in the 500.

The Lady Spartans finished in second place behind the Carbon Dinos. Grand and Gunnison claimed third and fourth, respectively.

Relays were important for the girls as well as the Emery team of Sydney Carter, Aubrey Guymon, Melody Lake and Purity Mason took a first place finish in the 200 free. Carter, Guymon, Lake and Abby Morris would team up for another top finish in the 400 free. And Aspen Jensen, Mason, Carley Young and Rileigh Meccariello earned a third place finish in the 200 medley.

Guymon would earn a top finish in the 200 free and a second place in the 100 yard backstroke.  Jensen swam to a first place finish in the 100 fly. Lake finished the 200 IM with a first and also earned a third place in the 100 back stroke. Carter earned a second place in the 50 free, and Mason had a third place finish in the breast stroke. Morris finished third in the 100 free and Young earned a second in the breast stroke.
