BOUNCE BACK
The Jets have to be given credit for the bounce back in their game after what happened at the beginning of the road trip against Minnesota. They were ready to go from the drop of the puck in Dallas and fought through some adversity in a tough building to record their 12th win of the season. The Jets could have buckled after Dallas' fourth goal of the night, but they fought back to win in overtime thanks to Josh Morrissey. Obviously, there will be nights where Winnipeg won't play well but what will continue to be important is how they respond the next game. Tonight, in Chicago, they have to keep playing the right way against a Blackhawk team that has dropped six straight.

DON'T LOOK PAST HAWKS
Chicago may have dropped six straight, but they were up 4-1 on Dallas on the road to start the third period before losing 6-4. Friday, they were up 2-0 on Montreal before dropping a 3-2 decision in a shootout. The Blackhawks have Seth Jones back in their lineup and will remain dangerous as long as Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews are around. Winnipeg has to be careful not to look past Chicago and close out the road trip with a win to keep things rolling before the showdown with Colorado on Tuesday.
DEMELO GIVES JETS OPTIONS
Dylan DeMelo did not look out of place in his return to the lineup after a four-game absence with an upper body injury. DeMelo played 24:35 including over four minutes on the penalty kill and added two assists for his first multi-assist game of the campaign. The Ontario product reunited with Josh Morrissey for the Jets top defence pairing against the Stars. Bowness felt that Morrissey and Neal Pionk were generating some offence together, but the other two pairs were not. Having Morrissey with DeMelo allows the Jets to spread the offence around on the back end and Jets defencemen had five points on Friday night.
