How Steph Curry, the Warriors superstar and NBA 3-point king, makes and spends his millions

Stephen Curry is living large as one of the NBA's greatest-ever players.
The Golden State Warriors sharpshooter has hoisted four NBA Finals trophies and racked up an abundance of individual accolades over his 15-year professional career. And all of that greatness on the hardwood has translated to significant financial success off the court.
Curry is one of the most handsomely paid basketball stars on the planet, and he makes millions upon millions each year from endorsements outside of his salary from Golden State. He and his wife, Ayesha — who has a flourishing career and brand of her own — live a life of luxury alongside their three children.
Here's how the Currys make and spend their millions:
Stephen Curry is one of the NBA's all-time greatest players: A two-time MVP, four-time champion, one-time Finals MVP, nine-time All-Star, and the NBA's all-time leader in three-pointers.
Curry has made an estimated $354.7 million over his decorated 15-year NBA career.
Curry was once underpaid, playing on a 4-year, $44 million extension when he won his first two MVP awards. He called it the most team-friendly contract in NBA history.
Curry has made up for those underpaid years. He is currently playing on a four-year, $215 million extension that will pay him $59 million in 2025-26. He became the first NBA player to sign back-to-back $200 million contracts.
Perhaps Curry was destined for stardom. His father, Dell, was an NBA player. Steph used to go to games with Dell, shoot on the court, and even play against other NBA players.

Forbes listed Curry as the 8th highest-paid athlete of 2023, estimating he made $52 million off the court.

Curry's deal with Under Armour was also once a steal, reportedly paying him about $4 million a year. He signed a new agreement with the brand in 2023 that included an ownership stake in the business and was rumored to be one of the richest in the history of sports.

In 2020, Under Armour launched Curry Brand in the footsteps of Jordan Brand with Nike.

And he has tons of other endorsements, too. Curry has starred in commercials for CarMax, Subway, Apple, State Farm, Brita, Degree, Rakuten, and more.
Curry was doing endorsements from an early age. As a kid, he starred in a Burger King commercial with his dad.
He started SC30 to manage his brand partnerships and investments. The company's LinkedIn page says it has 16 employees.

Curry also has his own media company, Unanimous Media. They have numerous projects, the most famous of which may be "Holey Moley," a golf game show on ABC.
Not all of Curry's investments have paid off. He got an ownership stake in FTX, which declared bankruptcy. Curry is one of several athletes the Texas State Securities Board is investigating for securities violations.

Curry's wife, Ayesha, has also become a business mogul. She's released cookbooks, started a pop-up restaurant, and appeared on cooking shows.
Ayesha also started her own food and lifestyle brand called Sweet July.

Ayesha and Stephen's little sister Sydel also share their own wine label, Domaine Curry. A bottle of their 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon is listed for $128 on Vivino.

In 2019, the Currys launched the Eat. Learn. Play Foundation, which focuses on childhood education and healthy lifestyles. They've reportedly donated over 500,000 books and 25 million meals across Oakland.

And the Currys have become a power couple that regularly rubs shoulders with Hollywood royalty. They throw out first pitches at MLB games, attend the Met Gala, host the ESPYs, walk the red carpet at movie premieres, and show up on late-night shows.
Riley went viral in 2015 when she amusingly took over one of Steph's postgame press conferences.
Curry once told Draymond Green that his dream luxury would be to have a full-time nanny.
He counts some powerful people as friends. He's golfing buddies and is in regular communication with former President Barack Obama, hangs out with Canelo Alvarez, and posed with BTS's Suga during the Warriors' trip to Japan.
Curry got a mention in one of Drake's more famous songs, "0 to 100." Drake says, "I been Steph Curry with the shot / Been cookin' with the sauce, chef curry with the pot, boy."
Steph and Ayesha made a spoof video of the song during her online cooking show. The video has over 5 million views on YouTube.
When Curry's not on the court, he's often on the golf course.

He gets to rub shoulders with famous golfers like Phil Mickelson and Collin Morikawa.
In addition to being an avid golfer, he runs the Underrated Golf tour, which aims to increase golf participation in diverse communities.
Curry helped fund the "rebirth" of Howard University's golf program, to the tune of $1 million, according to Rolling Stone.

Steph and Ayesha started the Curry Family Women's Athletics Initiative at his alma mater, Davidson, to increase scholarships and funds for women's athletics.
Curry used to drive a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon as a rookie. He's since added several luxury cars to his collection, including multiple Porsches, a Tesla, a Cadillac, a Range Rover, and more.
