Around 4:45 p.m. on Saturday, State Police in Rochester attempted to stop a motorist for a traffic violation on Genesee Street in Rochester when the operator failed to stop and a pursuit was initiated.
The operator of the fleeing vehicle eventually crashed into a front porch of a residence on South Plymouth Ave.
Troopers say they located two loaded handguns in the vehicle and arrested the operator who has been identified as Tyree Washington, 40, of Rochester.
Washington has been charged with two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, resisting arrest and unlawful fleeing.
Washington was remanded to the Monroe County Jail for arraignment on November 28.
