LIVINGSTON PARISH, La. (BRPROUD) – Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office (LPSO) deputies will be collecting donations and unwrapped toys throughout the day on Sunday, Nov. 27.
Applications for Livingston Parish families who could use some holiday magic from the sheriff’s office this holiday season open Monday, Nov. 28. Applications can be filled out at 29225 Woodside Drive in Walker from 8:30 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Applicants must fill the form out in person and bring the following:
- Proof that you are a resident of Livingston Parish
- Provide a birth certificate for each child or any official documentation listing child’s date of birth such as school records, medical records, or WIC vouchers
- Proof of income for all persons living in the household or proof of food stamps
The age limit for a child to be accepted is 12. Food stamps won’t be accepted as proof of income.
Applications are open from Nov. 28 to Dec. 2 and Dec. 5 to Dec. 9
