Porsha Williams and Simon Guobadia marry – again – in second wedding

“I do” times two.

Porsha Williams and Simon Guobadia tied the knot again on Saturday, just a day after their custom Nigerian ceremony in Atlanta.

The couple’s second nuptials, also held in Georgia, were consistent with a traditional American ceremony, while Friday’s wedding followed Nigerian native law and customs due to the groom’s heritage.

Williams, 41, wore a white lace Frida ballgown while walking down the aisle at a Methodist church, according to People.

“I definitely want the Lord to be in the place. I want the Holy Spirit to usher us into being a husband and wife,” she told the outlet ahead of the ceremony.

“I’m from the south, so I love being in church. I’ve never been married in a church, and Simon’s never been married in a church, so it’s going to be a new experience for both of us.”

The outlet also reports that 350 guests were in attendance to watch WIlliams and Guobadia, 57, say “I do.”

Fellow “Housewives” at the nuptials included Kim Zolciak-Biermann, Monyetta Shaw, Kandi Burruss, Drew Sidora and Cynthia Bailey.

“We call each other ‘hubby’ and ‘wifey’ all the time, but now it’s going to be official, so I think I’m going to cry,” Williams gushed to People. “Simon says he’s not going to cry, but he’s cried at home when we just talk about our relationship, so I think he’s going to cry. I think we have a silent bet.”

Williams previously revealed that having multiple celebrations for the couple’s big day was always part of the plan. In May 2021, the reality star shared on her radio show, “Dish Nation,” that they wanted three weddings.

“He’s African, so we’re going to have a native law and custom ceremony, and a regular wedding, and then we’re going to have another wedding at one of the houses that is out of the country,” she explained.

Williams and Guobadia’s relationship had a controversial start as the businessman was previously married to the Bravo star’s “RHOA” co-star Falynn Pina when they first met.

The now-married couple got engaged in May 2021, just a few weeks after Pina, 32, announced she and Simon had called it quits.

However, Williams always stressed that she did not come in between the former couple’s marriage, noting on social media at the time, “Falynn and I are not friends, and Simon’s divorce has been settled. Our relationship is a positive, loving step forward in everybody’s lives.”

The “Pursuit of Porsha” author jokingly told People on Friday, “It’s our last marriage, OK? We belong together. That is it. It’s a blessing to be able to find your person. It doesn’t happen often.”

Williams was previously married to Kordell Stewart from 2011 to 2013, and their relationship was featured on Season 1 of “RHOA.” She was also previously engaged to Dennis McKinley, with whom she shares 3-year-old daughter Pilar.

Guobadia has five kids — Quentin, Nicole, Christian, Benjamin and Ximena — from previous marriages.
