We've mentioned in the past that WOW Women of Wrestling made attempts to bring in The Inspiration before they ended up heading to IMPACT Wrestling, but that's far from the only star they tried to reach out to.
Among those, we're told that feelers were sent out to those connected to now-AEW star Ruby Soho shortly after her WWE release. The company was told pretty quickly that Ruby was not taking bookings, which led many to correctly believe that she was signing for AEW.
Original pitches we've heard for the roster of WOW are categorically different from the approach since taken.
We've since learned that WOW Women of Wrestling had friends of Ruby reach out to Ruby Soho, and that the company didn't have direct talks with her. They were quickly informed she wasn't available.
