Sami Zayn proves his loyalty to The Bloodline.
In the closing of Survivor Series 2022, Sami Zayn teamed with Roman Reigns, Jimmy and Jey Uso and Solo Sikoa to defeat The Brawling Brutes' Sheamus, Ridge Holland, Butch, Kevin Owen & Drew McIntyre.
Throughout the night, Sami Zayn's loyalty was called into question following his interaction with Kevin Owens on the November 25 episode of SmackDown. Sami was called in to face Roman Reigns one-on-one where Sami explained why he spoke to Kevin and professed his loyalty to The Bloodline.
In the match, Roman forces Sami and Kevin to be the two who defended the honor of The Bloodline first in WarGames, and later, Jey accidentally strikes Sami.
In the end, Sami Zayn finally earned the appreciation of The Bloodline by hitting Kevin Owens in the balls, nailing a Helluva Kick, and allowing Jey Uso to pin Kevin Owens with the Uso Splash. Despite looking and feeling conflicted throughout what he'd done, Sami Zayn eventually came to terms with his decision and was welcomed by all members of The Bloodline, including Jey Uso, with open arms.
