Skaters spend Saturday on the ice in Dothan

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — While some were at home watching the Iron Bowl, others were out having winter fun.

Despite muggy weather, plenty of people were out skating at “Ice and Lights” on Saturday.

With “Ice and Lights” opening yesterday, many families thought it was a perfect way to spend the weekend.

Some families even came from out of town to give their kids their first opportunity to ice skate.

“It’s kind of hard but it’s fun. You can’t find a lot of ice in Alabama so…” Bryce Laudicina told WDHN.

At only $10 a skater, and the rink staying open until mid Jan, there’s still plenty of time to hit the ice.
