Edmonton Oilers searching for help on forward

The Edmonton Oilers had a pretty remarkable comeback on Saturday afternoon. After being down 3-0 at the end of the second period, they stormed back to scored four times in the final frame, including a pair of goals from Evan Bouchard and three assists from Ryan McLeod.

Despite the win on Saturday, the team is still struggling, mostly defensively, but during Saturday's 32 Thoughts segment on Hockey Night in Canada, Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman mentioned that the Oilers are looking to add to their forward depth.

"One thing I think the Oilers are looking at is just some depth forwards who are edgy or can grind a little bit. I think there's a feeling since Evander Kane went out, that they're a lot easier to play against and I do think the Oilers are looking to see, they're tight on the cap, can they find a budget player or two that can make a difference in some of their forward depth." Friedman said.

The Oilers currently sit fourth in the Pacific Division with a record of 11-10-0 through 21 games. While they still have 62 games left, they need to pick things up significantly and can't rely on Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl every night.

One player they could keep and eye on leading up to the deadline is Max Domi of the Chicago Blackhawks. Domi is on a one-year deal with Chicago at an AAV of $3 million. Not only would he bring that grit and edge the Oilers need, but he can provide some depth scoring as well.

Do you think Max Domi would be a good fit for the Edmonton Oilers? Let us know in the poll below!
