Three people were stabbed or cut during a large brawl early Thanksgiving morning at Harrah’s Resort and Casino in Atlantic City.
Atlantic City Police officers responded to reports of a fight at The Pool in Harrah’s around 1:30 Thursday morning, officials said. When they arrived, the officers discovered a disturbance in the valet area of the resort and immediately learned that three people had been stabbed.
The victims, two from Atlantic City and one from Camden, were taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, police said in a statement released Friday. None of the injuries were life-threatening.
Detectives with the Atlantic City Police Department’s Criminal Investigation unit identified two suspects in the stabbings, police said. The two men were still at-large as of Friday evening, and warrants were issued for the arrest of 24-year-old Dante Braxton and Kamal Allen, 34.
Braxton and Rivera are both residents of Atlantic City, police said, and Allen is a Bridgeton resident. All three face several charges, including aggravated assault and possession of a weapon.
One of the stabbing victims, 33-year-old Akbar Pearson of Camden, was also charged with aggravated assault, police said.
Officials are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact the Atlantic City Police Department Criminal Investigations Section at 609-347-5766 or text anonymously to tip411.
