Bengals make two additions to active roster ahead of Sunday's game against Tennessee
The Cincinnati Bengals made two additions to their active roster from the practice squad ahead of the team's Week 12 showdown against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. On Saturday, the Bengals announced that punter Drue Chrisman and wide receiver Kwamie Lassiter II have been elevated from the practice squad to the active roster.Chrisman and Lassiter are both classified as standard elevations, meaning they automatically will revert back to the practice squad on Monday.The 25-year-old Chrisman appeared in his first NFL game in last week's win against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Chrisman drew the start at punter over veteran Kevin Huber.The Ohio State product punted three times against Pittsburgh, averaging 54 yards per punt. Lassiter, a 24-year-old rookie, has not appeared in an NFL game in his career. The receiver spent five college seasons at Kansas, where he made 148 receptions for 1,550 yards and seven touchdowns. Lassiter also served as the primary punt and kick returner with the Jayhawks.Lassiter joined the Bengals as a free agent in May. Lassiter's father, also named Kwamie Lassiter, played in the NFL from 1995-2004 as a defensive back. The Bengals and Titans will kickoff in Nashville at 1 p.m. ET at Nissan Stadium. Cincinnati enters the contest at 6-4 and second in the AFC North, while Tennessee is 7-3 and first in the AFC South.
