FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — A 17-year-old driver is now in juvenile hall after police say a ghost gun was found in his vehicle during a traffic stop in Fresno.
Officers pulled over the vehicle Friday night near Kings Canyon Rd. and Woodrow Ave. for multiple traffic violations.

According to police, all those inside the vehicle were teens and the driver was not cooperating, refusing to provide a license or registration.
The group was asked to exit and during the vehicle search, a firearm was found in the glove compartment.

The teen driver, officers say admitted to building and owning the gun. He was arrested and booked into Juvenile Hall.
As for the rest of the group, they were released to their parents.
