Utah Highway Patrol said they stopped over 1,000 speeding drivers in Utah in the days around Thanksgiving.
They said the number of speeding violations was from Wednesday through Saturday.

"We can’t say it enough, slow down so you can get to your destination safely!" troopers said.
Crews were also on the roads throughout the holiday weekend assisting drivers on Utah roads.
A storm is expected to roll into Utah Monday through Tuesday, and valleys may get 1-2" of snow — officials have previously asked drivers to be extra cautious on the road in these conditions.
Additional details were not provided regarding the citations given around Thanksgiving, however, UHP did share a photo on their social media of a citation given in Lehi where the driver was traveling over 100 mph in a 70 mph zone.
