Man charged with kidnapping in case of missing woman, Cari Allen
The Douglas County Attorney's Office issued an arrest warrant for Aldrick Scott in relation to missing Omaha woman, Cari Allen.
A criminal complaint charges 47-year-old Aldrick Scott with felony kidnapping and accessory to a felony.
The complaint alleges Scott kidnapped Allen, 43, on Nov. 20.
Allen was last seen in the area of her home, 168th and Blondo streets, Nov. 19 around 11:00 p.m.
Authorities in Topeka, Kansas served a warrant on Scott's home Monday, but were unable to locate him.
Scanner audio from that night alleges someone called 911 to report that "Aldrick Scott" had killed his girlfriend.
The Douglas County Sheriff's Office has refrained from naming Scott in the case, or any person of interest, but spent several days searching the area of her home and the Douglas County landfill. Law enforcement has not provided a photo of Scott and court records do
It does not appear Scott is in custody.
The Douglas County Attorney said Allen's location and condition are still unknown.
"We are searching multiple areas throughout Douglas County and will continue to do so until we can bring closure to the Cari Allen family," said Douglas County Chief Deputy Wayne Hudson said.
An arrest warrant tied to the case provides extradition information for Scott.
"The DCSO is actively pursuing all possible leads in regards to the Cari Allen missing person case. We will go wherever the leads takes us and commit whatever resources necessary to have s successful resolution to this matter," Hudson said.
Monday, the Shawnee County Kansas Sheriff's Office released two photos of Aldrick Scott and named him as wanted by DCSO in Nebraska.
It is reported Scott may have fled the country.
