Man found dead inside vehicle on Shamrock Road in Dodge County

DODGE COUNTY − A deceased man was found inside his vehicle this morning on Shamrock Road near East Waupun Road in the township of Chester.

According to the Dodge County Sheriff's Office, the vehicle is a 2015 Chevrolet which was moving north on Shamrock Road approximately two miles east of Waupun.

The car seems to have struck a ditch and a culvert after leaving the road, the sheriff's office said in a press release.

The cause of death remains unclear and the incident is under investigation by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office and the Dodge County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Lifestar EMS, Waupun Fire Department, Waupun Police Department, the Dodge County Crash Investigation Team and the county's Medical Examiner's Office assisted at the scene.
