Structure fire turns into explosion in York County

YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) —
Authorities worked overnight to put out the flames of a structure, before the building eventually exploded.

According to Strinestown Community Fire, the initial fire happened last night at around 7:11 p.m. in North Codorus Township.
After arriving on scene and putting out the fire, officials were surprisingly re-dispatched to the scene at around 9:31 p.m. due to an explosion at the same building.
Fire crews say that the explosion required a total of 16 members and took about 3,000 gallons of water to put out.
At about 12:12 a.m., crews say that the fire from the explosion had been subdued and dealt with.
