  • The three UFC stars were reportedly invited by the dictator himself

Kamaru Usman, Henry Cejudo and Justin Gaethje travelled to Chechnya to have some good time. The trio of UFC superstars was reportedly invited by famous Chechen republic dictator Ramzan Kadyrov.

Practicing some shooting

Usman, Henry and Gaethje have been keeping their fans posted about their escapade. And one of the things they did while in Chechnya that has drawn interest on the internet right now was the gun-firing practice upon the invitation of Kadyrov, per journalist Karim Zidan.

In the photos, the three were spotted wearing some standard gun-firing attire while seemingly firing a few shots at Kadyrov’s special forces facility in Gudermes.

“Former UFC champs Kamaru Usman and Henry Cejudo, along with Justin Gaethje, are all currently in Chechnya at the invitation of the republic’s warlord Ramzan Kadyrov. Here they are testing out guns at a special forces facility in Gudermes,” Zidan tweeted.

It was also noted that Usman, Cejudo, and Gaethje were also present in the birthday bash of one of Kadyrov’s teenage sons before they visited the facility.

Between the three, it was only “The Nigerian Nightmare” that had already come to Chechnya upon Kadyrov’s invitation, first in November 2020 and the last was in November of  last year.

In a previous social media post, Cejudo delighted his fans once again with an epic face-off and playful fight with internet sensation and another famous Muslim Hasbulla.

Kadyrov has been at peace with the UFC

Despite the several controversies plaguing Kadyrov’s name, the man himself has a great friendship with an array of UFC stars, most notably Khamzat Chimaev. In fact, the Chechen leader has been promoting peace within his fellow Muslim brothers in the promotion.

Usman has yet to be slated for his first UFC fight since losing his welterweight strap to Leon Edwards at UFC 278. Cejudo, on the other hand, continues to get linked with a comeback fight with a number of big-name fighters in the bantamweight and featherweight division. Gaethje, meanwhile, is also waiting for his next fight following a submission loss to Charles Oliveira at UFC 274.

While there’s no fight scheduled yet, the trio, who knows, might level up their vacation in the coming days.
