In Friday’s OHSAA Game of the Week for central and northeast Ohio viewers, defending state champion St. Edward (14-1) dominated Gahanna Lincoln 31-7 in Division I to advance to the final next weekend.

Gahanna (13-2) finishes the season with a school record for wins, but couldn't recover after falling behind 14-0 in the first half.

It was a much closer contest in the southwest Ohio Game of the Week, where Springfield (13-1) edged Archbishop Moeller 28-24 in a rematch of last year's state semifinals.

A 48-yard touchdown catch by Anthony Brown with just over four minutes remaining sealed the victory for Springfield. Moeller (13-2) lost last year's game 22-21.

In another rematch, St. Edward and Springfield will meet in Canton next weekend to determine the Division 1 champion.
