There is no hope for this city. All the government staff needs to be fired. Absolutely no solutions since the year I left in 1989. It has progressively gotten worse. It’s like watching an apocalypse movie. I send prayers to the brave civilized souls living there!Them degenerates are doing what they are allowed to do. The criminals get better every year, but the government is still using 1970 tactics.

Kristopher Burns-Jackson pleaded guilty Monday to charges of second-degree murder and armed criminal action. He shot his girlfriend Monay Phillips on Nov. 10, 2020 during an argument in a car in the 3100 block of Arsenal in the Tower Grove East neighborhood.

MADISON COUNTY (KMOV) -- An Alton man was convicted this week of attempted first-degree murder at the East Alton Ice Arena in January 2022. The Madison County State’s Attorney’s Office announced Wednesday that 31-year-old Berton L. Newton was sentenced to 35 years in prison for the crime. A mother and daughter were shot in the parking lot of the ice rink. Both survived the shooting.

ST. LOUIS (KMOV) -- Three people were injured in a car crash near downtown St. Louis Wednesday afternoon involving a vehicle taken in a recent carjacking. Maj. Janice Bockstruck with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department said city police and federal agencies were surveilling a vehicle recently taken in a carjacking when the person driving the vehicle stepped out and got into another vehicle, which was involved in a crash soon after. That vehicle was also stolen in a South City carjacking in December, Bockstruck said.
