State police at Fogelsville

State police in Fogelsville reported:

• A large amount of jewelry was reported taken in a Lehigh County burglary.

Police said the break-in occurred at a residence along Butternut Lane in Lower Macungie Township. Taken were 17 pieces of jewelry, including a tennis bracelet valued at $15,000 and a Tag Heuer model watch valued at $5,000. Also among the items taken were several strands of pearls, necklaces, pendants and class rings.

The theft occurred on Nov. 11 between 12:30 a.m. and 6:15 p.m.

• A crash occurred at 2:24 p.m. on Oct. 28 along New Smithville Road in Weisenberg Township.

Troopers said Dax D. Druckman, 49, of New Ringgold, was driving a 2022 Ford Mustang when it struck a deer that had entered the road in front of him. Druckman was not injured but the vehicle had to be towed.
