RECAP: Red Wings beat Coyotes, 4-3, in shootout for fourth straight win

Filip Hronek and the Detroit Red Wings just keep on rolling.

Hronek had a power-play goal and an assist for his third straight multi-point game, while captain Dylan Larkin scored the shootout winner to lift the Red Wings over the Arizona Coyotes, 4-3, on Friday night at Little Caesars Arena.

With seven seconds left on the power play, Raymond took a pass from Hronek in the left faceoff circle and sent a shot that was blocked by Juuso Valimaki. Copp quickly one-timed the loose puck past Arizona netminder Karel Vejmelka for his second goal of the season.

Just inside the offensive zone, Bertuzzi fed Jonatan Berggren skating above the right faceoff circle. Berggren then sent a cross-ice pass to Hronek, who buried a one-timer on the power play for his sixth goal of the 2022-23 campaign.

Nick Schmaltz tipped in Jakob Chychrun's shot for a goal, cutting Arizona's early deficit in half.
Detroit 3, Arizona 1 (9:00, 2nd period)
Twenty-eight seconds after the Coyotes found twine, Oesterle wristed a shot from above the left faceoff circle that beat Vejmelka. Raymond and Bertuzzi were both credited with a helper on Oesterle's first goal of the season.

Arizona 2, Detroit 3 (8:32, 2nd period)
J.J. Moser, assisted by Clayton Keller, put a one-timer past Husso.
Arizona 3, Detroit 3 (19:34, 3rd period)
After the Coyotes pulled Vejmelka in favor of a 6-on-5 advantage, Chychrun's deflection tally sent the game into overtime.
Shootout
Larkin netted the lone goal in the shootout, marking his fourth career NHL shootout-deciding goal.
