Employees at one McDonald's restaurant in Georgia served up way more than fast food on Wednesday.
"I went into the bathroom, I used it, my water broke immediately."
It was just before 10 Wednesday morning
"A lady came in she said 'are you okay?' I said 'no I'm in labor.'"
That McDonald's restroom quickly turned into Alandria Worthy's delivery room.
"I thought they was joking. I opened the door and she was on this toilet laying back, screaming. Then I knew to tell my crew, we're having a baby today."
McDonald's acting general manager Tunisia Woodward, along with two other employees and Worthy's fiancé, Deandre Phillips, turned into delivery room doctors.
"I had her legs, both of her legs, and her feet propped up on my knees."
"We all are mothers and so we put our heads together and all we needed daddy to do was catch the baby. And he did."
Just fifteen minutes and three pushes later, "She came out, head first."
"It was crazy," said Worthy. "I had one worker on this hand, one worker on this hand, I think I bit her I didn't mean to!"
"it was me! But I'm okay, she did not break my skin. It was all worth it. It was worth it."
Nandi Ariyah Moremi Phillips was born.
And while that may be her name on her birth certificate, "She had a nickname before she even left McDonald's"
"That's her nickname McDonald's Little Nugget".
A 7 pound 9 ounce nugget.
Woodward says it's the best Happy Meal she's yet to deliver
"It gave me a new awe, like it woke me up. Helping bring a life in! It was just amazing. It's a day I'll never forget. I'm going to tell this story from here on out."
The owner of the McDonald's gave that manager and the workers $250 gift cards for their Thanksgiving celebrations.
The manager says she's spending all the money on items for the newborn, including diapers and clothing.
