A forgotten Christmas story is making its way to the Hult Center this weekend.
Performed by local dance troupe Ballet Fantastique, Victor Herbert's Babes in Toyland is showing at the Silva Concert Hall.
With jazz from Duke Ellington's Nutcracker woven in, Ballet Fantastique is hoping to give your family a new Christmas tradition.
And for the show's dancers, being able to share this performance with their community is what matters most.
“So we know our community here in Eugene and Springfield really support the arts,” said Ballet Fantastique’s Isabelle Bloodgood. “It's been great to be able to do these big shows at the Hult Center so that we can fit everyone from the community, especially in the Silva where we can have more audience, more people who get to see our shows.”
Babes in Toyland's last show is Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
