VIDEO: Armed robber who targeted clerks a Queens, Manhattan hotels sought by police

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD on Friday released video footage Friday of a suspect they are looking to identify in connection to a gunpoint robbery pattern that occurred at Hotels in Queens and Manhattan earlier this month.

Just before 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 15, the suspect entered The Haven Hotel located at 68-05 Woodhaven Blvd. in Flushing and approached the counter, officials said.

The suspect demanded cash while displaying a black firearm but the clerk did not comply and the suspect fled on foot to parts unknown without any property taken.

At approximately 10:40 a.m., on Wednesday, November 16, the suspect entered La Quinta Hotel located at 31 West 71 St. on the Upper West Side and approached the counter.

The suspect then passed a note and placed the note and a silver firearm on the counter demanding money.

The hotel clerk complied and the suspect fled on foot to parts unknown with an undermined amount of cash.

There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.

The unidentified individual is described as a male, dark complexion, approximately in his 20's, thin build and was last seen wearing a black hooded sweater, black sweat pants, black sneakers and a blue surgical face mask.
