More than 200,000 people gathered to watch the 86th Annual Glasheen, Valles & Inderman Injury Lawyers Sun Bowl Parade on Thanksgiving.
“First, we’d like to thank the community for supporting the Sun Bowl Association and events such as the Glasheen, Valles & Inderman Injury Lawyers Sun Bowl Parade,” said Sun Bowl Executive Director Bernie Olivas.
This was the second parade with Glasheen, Valles & Inderman Injury Lawyers as the title sponsor and the group hopes to return next year to give the people what they want, "The People's Parade."
There were 65 units in the parade, which included floats, military, high school bands and many other various entries.
Noe Valles, Lawyer at Glassheen, Valles & Inderman Injury Lawyers stated before the start of the parade, "It’s an honor for us to be the Sponsor of this parade. Growing up, watching the parade as a kid, it was exciting! Now to be a part of the parade, it’s an awesome experience.”
“With all the tragedies happening around our country, we cannot express enough gratitude, appreciation and thanks to the Office of Emergency Management, the City of El Paso, the El Paso Police Department, the El Paso Fire Department and all others who made it possible for the community to come out and feel safe," said Olivas.
