TRI-CITY TASK FORCE SPEED AND AGGRESSIVE DRIVING ENFORCEMENT
PRESCOTT ARIZONA (February 2, 2023) – This morning the Tri-City Traffic Task Force conducted Speed and Aggressive Driving enforcement on Yavapai County roadways. 8 total Law Enforcement Officers from the Tri-City agencies including Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office, Department of Public Safety, Prescott Police Department, Prescott Valley Police Department, and Chino Valley Police Department targeted the Williamson Valley and Kirkland areas covering Iron Springs Rd, Williamson Valley Rd, and HWY 89 between Yarnell and Wilhoit. Officers had a very busy morning conducting this special enforcement detail conducting 61 total traffic stops resulting in 87 total citations.

Prescott Valley to conduct manhole construction work at Viewpoint and Hwy 89A Feb. 5-9 The Town of Prescott Valley will conduct manhole construction work from Sunday, Feb. 5 through Thursday, Feb. 9 just south of the intersection at Highway 89A and Viewpoint Drive. The traffic in this area (shaded in green in attached photo) may be affected during this project. The three northbound traffic lanes will be reduced to two lanes of traffic from 8PM to 5AM each day. Drivers are asked to use caution in the area.
