Sunday Night Football will take place in Philadelphia as the Eagles are set to host the Green Bay Packers. Before the season began, this matchup was coined as a potential NFC Championship preview, but Packers QB Aaron Rodgers and company haven’t lived up to expectations. The Eagles are 9-1, while the Packers are 4-7, and our experts broke down the matchup and made Packers vs. Eagles predictions.

Let’s dive into their best bet and reasoning with odds provided by DraftKings Sportsbook.

Packers vs. Eagles prediction featuring Over 46

The Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles face off on Sunday Night Football this weekend, and our experts’ best bet from their Packers vs. Eagles predictions is for the game to finish with over 46 points. Green Bay enters NFL Week 12 with a 4-7 record, while Philadelphia is 9-1. Leading up to the season, the Packers had shorter odds to win the Super Bowl compared to the Eagles, but the two teams have proved to be on different levels this year. Aaron Rodgers and company are coming off a 27-17 home defeat to the Tennessee Titans, and their defense gave up over 400 yards for the second straight week.

Philadelphia escaped with a 17-16 victory against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 11, and QB Jalen Hurts put the team on his back in the fourth quarter. Hurts has played like an MVP all season, and we anticipate that he will be able to run and throw all over this Green Bay defense. The Eagles average 370.6 yards per game (fifth in the NFL) and do a lot of it on the ground (142.5). This isn’t good news for a Packers defense that’s giving up 135.8 rushing yards per contest (25th in the NFL).

While we foresee the Eagles moving the ball with ease this Sunday, we wouldn’t be surprised if Green Bay can put up points on Philadelphia. The Eagles give up just 18.3 points per game, but they recently allowed 32 points to the Washington Commanders at home. They haven’t been playing as well as they were to start the year, and Green Bay has at least 17 points in four of their last five games.

The Packers should surpass 17 points, and we predict they will finish with close to 21. The Eagles winning this game with a 27-21 or 30-21 scoreline seems quite realistic, and we think both offenses will be able to move the ball Sunday night. Nine of Philadelphia’s last ten games have finished over the total, and we anticipate this trend continuing.

Therefore, our best bet from our Packers vs. Eagles predictions is for the matchup to finish with over 46 points, which you can fade or follow if you sign up for a new DraftKings account today.
