The Arizona Wildcats and Arizona State Sun Devils faced off in the annual Territorial Cup rivalry game on Friday at Arizona Stadium in Tucson. Look back at our score updates from the game.

Another turnover by ASU seals win for Arizona

ASU QB Trenton Bourguet was hit as he threw the ball on a 2nd down and 15 at the ASU 43, and Arizona intercepted the ball, which had hung up in the air, to seal the victory over Arizona State.

It was the fifth turnover of the game for the Sun Devils, while the Wildcats only had one.

ASU remarkably punted the ball once in the game - on its first possession.

The Sun Devils either scored touchdowns or turned the ball over on every one of their possessions after that.

Arizona State outgained Arizona in the game, 537-480. The Sun Devils dominated the time of possession, 37:14-22:46 and had a 41-19 advantage in first downs.

But the turnovers proved to be their undoing, negating all the great things Trenton Bourguet and the ASU offense were able to do (although one of the fumbles was on a punt return).

Trenton Bourguet went 37-for-49 for 376 yards and three touchdowns for ASU, with the two interceptions.

Xazavian Valladay had 24 carries for 97 yards and two touchdowns rushing for Arizona State after having an injury scare in the first quarter.

Giovanni Sanders had 120 yards receiving on eight catches, with a touchdown to lead ASU's receiving corps.

Elijhah Badger had eight catches for 92 yards and a touchdown and Jalin Conyers had 10 catches for 76 yards and a touchdown.

The Sun Devils struggled containing Arizona's rushing attack throughout the game.

Arizona rushed for 280 yards on 28 attempts, with five touchdowns, led by Michael Wiley's 12 carries for 214 yards and three touchdowns.

Jayden de Laura was 12-for-23 passing for Arizona, with one interception.

Arizona snapped a five-game losing streak in the Territorial Cup with the win over ASU.

Arizona finished the season with a 5-7 record. ASU ended the season with a record of 3-9.

Final score: Arizona 38, Arizona State 35

Turnovers doomed the ASU Sun Devils, and aided the Arizona Wildcats in the Territorial Cup rivalry game on Friday.

ASU defense gives offense another chance

The ASU defense stopped Arizona on third-and-1 and fourth-and-1 runs on Arizona's next possession, giving the Sun Devils the ball back with 1:33 left in the game at their own 28-yard line.

Huge back-to-back plays for ASU to give themselves a chance to either try to tie or win the game.

Arizona State turns ball over again vs. Arizona

Turnovers have been the story of the game for ASU and not in a good way.

ASU turned the ball over for the fourth time of the game when Trenton Bourguet fumbled it when he was sacked on a third-and-6- play at the Arizona 20.

The turnover gave Arizona the ball back all the way at the ASU 36-yard line after an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty on Elijhah Badger.

ASU had been marching down the field again, but couldn't take care of the ball. ASU has three fumbles and an interception in the game.

Arizona just has one interception.

Arizona is now in great shape to run some clock and add to their lead. The Sun Devils have to try to hold the Wildcats to a field goal attempt or force a turnover. ASU only has one timeout left in the game.

Arizona answers vs. ASU to regain lead

Back and forth we go.

Arizona has now regained the lead after 4-play, 38-yard drive against the Sun Devils. It is the sixth lead change of the game.

DJ Williams ran the ball in from 6-yards out for the touchdown.

The Wildcats benefitted from some costly ASU penalties on the drive, including a face mask penalty that gave Arizona a first down when they would have had a third-and-long situation. ASU was also flagged for pass interference on the possession.

Jayden de Laura connected on a 30-yard pass to Michael Wiley on the first play of the drive. Wiley was left completely unguarded as he ran out of the backfield and made the catch.

ASU forces Arizona to three-and-out

The Wildcats chose to throw deep on second and third and long on their next possession, giving Arizona State the ball back at their own 35-yard line early in the fourth quarter.

The play calling was interesting considering ASU has struggled to stop the Wildcats run game in the second half (and for much of the game for that matter).

The third quarter saw the Wildcats outscore the Sun Devils 21-14 as the game turned into a shootout.

What will the fourth quarter hold?
