Scattered showers (mixed precipitation) can be expected tomorrow PM into Saturday. Watch for light snow accumulations in the higher terrain.

Colder air will spill across the divide Sunday into Monday, and widespread snow can be expected across western Montana. This system will favor northwest Montana, where even valley locations will see several inches of snow accumulate. Snow showers are in the forecast for much of next week, so if you have any travel plans, be prepared for wintry conditions (especially over passes).
