Deceased Victim Located on Subway Platform, Investigation Underway

Downtown Los Angeles, Los Angeles, CA: A body with signs of trauma was located Wednesday, Nov. 23, at approximately 2:00 a.m. at the subway station at Hill and 5th streets in Downtown Los Angeles.

Los Angeles Police Department Central Division officers responded to the Pershing Square Metro Subway station to assist Metro security services with a possible homicide scene.

Officers stated off camera that an unknown deceased victim was located on the platform level.

Officers did not know if the victim was shot or stabbed as they were waiting for security camera footage from Metro headquarters.

The station was closed while officers investigated the incident.
