2022 Arkansas runoff elections: Where & when to vote in Northwest Arkansas, River Valley
Election day is today, Dec. 6, 2022. Polls will remain open until 7:30 p.m. If you're still in line at that time, you should be allowed to vote.
A runoff takes place in Arkansas county offices if no candidate gets more than 50% of the vote. In municipal races, a runoff can be avoided if that leading candidate gets more than 40% and no other candidate gets 20% or more.
Benton County
Election Day voting will be held 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the following locations:
Highland United Methodist Church at 371 Glasgow Road in Bella Vista
New Life Christian Church at 103 Riordan Road in Bella Vista
St. Bernard's Catholic Church Parish Hall at 1 St. Bernard Lane in Bella Vista
Bentonville First Presbyterian Church at 901 NE J Street in Bentonville
C7 Church at 2003 SW Regional Airport Blvd. in Bentonville
First Landmark Baptist Church at 206 SE 28th Street in Bentonville
Lakeview Baptist Church at 1351 E Lowell Ave. in Cave Springs
Moose Lodge #877 at 215 W. Apple Blossom Rd. in Lowell
Southside Church of Christ at 919 S Dixieland Rd. in Rogers
Sunnyside Baptist Church at 210 E Locust St. in Rogers.
In Bella Vista, Randy Murray and John Flynn will be in a runoff for mayor.
Bella Vista also has three city council positions that will go to runoffs.
Ward 1, Position 2 will be between Donna Hutchinson and Wendy Hughes. Ward 2, Position 2 will be between Larry Wilms and Wynn Peterson. Ward 3, Position 2 will be between Julie Yandell and Craig Honchell.
Bentonville has two school district races headed to a runoff. Jeremy Farmer and Blanca Maldonado will face off for the Zone 3 seat. Tatum Aicklen and Letisha Hinds advanced to the Zone 5 seat.
The Rogers City Council Ward 3, Position 1 race will go to a runoff between Clay Kendall and Rachel Crawford.
Springdale's City Council Ward 3, Position 1 race will come down to a runoff between Brian Powell and Alice Gachuzo-Colin.
Crawford County
Election Day voting will be held at the Emergency Operations Center in Van Buren, the Alma Community Center, Cedarville First Baptist Church and the Dyer Community Center.
In Alma, voters will decide whether their new mayor will be Jimmy Fincher or Edward "Eddie" Wakefield.
The Cedarville School Board Zone 4 runoff is between Nathan Butler and Jeff Clayborn.
The Dyer City Council Ward 3, Position 1 runoff is between Katherine Fry and Cynthia Looney.
Scott County
Election Day voting will be held 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Memorial Hall on Main St. in Waldron.
The Scott County Sheriff's race will be determined by voters choosing between Clint McPherson and Randy Shores.
Washington County
Election Day voting will be held 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the following locations:
Main Street Baptist Church at 49 W Main St. in Farmington
Archer Learning Center at 600 Ash St. in Springdale
Calvary Church at 1000 N. Gutenshohn in Springdale
Elmdale Baptist Church at 1700 W Huntsville Rd. in Springdale
First Church of the Nazarene at 2300 S 40th St. in Springdale
Oak Grove Baptist Church at 499 Oak Grove Rd. in Springdale
Springdale Civic Center at 2323 S Old Missouri Rd in Springdale
Farmington has a runoff in its mayoral race. Voters will choose between Diane Bryant and Ernie L. Penn.
Springdale's City Council Ward 3, Position 1 race will come down to a runoff between Brian Powell and Alice Gachuzo-Colin.
