HERE'S A LOOK AT SOME OF THOSE RACES ON THE BALLOTS -- DEPENDING ON WHERE YOU LIVE. IN BENTON COUNTY -- RUNOFFS ARE HAPPENING IN BELLA VISTA FOR MAYOR -- AS WELL AS THREE CITY COUNCIL POSITIONS. TWO SCHOOL DISTRICT POSITIONS ARE STILL UP FOR A VOTE. THERE IS ALSO A CITY COUNCIL POSITION ON THE BALLOT IN ROGERS. NEXT IS WASHINGTON COUNTY -- WHERE THE RACE FOR THE MAYOR OF FARMINGTON IS IN A RUNOFF -- AS WELL AS ONE POSITION FOR SPRINGDALE CITY COUNCIL. VOTERS IN CRAWFORD COUNTY -- THERE ARE THREE RUNOFF RACES OF NOTE -- FOR MAYOR OF ALMA -- ZONE 4 FOR THE CEDARVILLE SCHOOL BOARD -- AND ONE ROLE FOR DYER CITY COUNCIL. AND IN SCOTT COUNTY -- THERE IS A RUNOFF FOR SHERIFF BETWEEN CLINT MCPHERSON AND RANDY SHORES. Election day is today, Dec. 6, 2022. Polls will remain open until 7:30 p.m. If you're still in line at that time, you should be allowed to vote.A runoff takes place in Arkansas county offices if no candidate gets more than 50% of the vote. Tatum Aicklen and Letisha Hinds advanced to the Zone 5 seat.The Rogers City Council Ward 3, Position 1 race will go to a runoff between Clay Kendall and Rachel Crawford.Springdale's City Council Ward 3, Position 1 race will come down to a runoff between Brian Powell and Alice Gachuzo-Colin.Crawford CountyElection Day voting will be held at the Emergency Operations Center in Van Buren, the Alma Community Center, Cedarville First Baptist Church and the Dyer Community Center.In Alma, voters will decide whether their new mayor will be Jimmy Fincher or Edward "Eddie" Wakefield.The Cedarville School Board Zone 4 runoff is between Nathan Butler and Jeff Clayborn.The Dyer City Council Ward 3, Position 1 runoff is between Katherine Fry and Cynthia Looney.Scott CountyElection Day voting will be held 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Memorial Hall on Main St. in Waldron.The Scott County Sheriff's race will be determined by voters choosing between Clint McPherson and Randy Shores.Washington CountyElection Day voting will be held 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the following locations:Main Street Baptist Church at 49 W Main St. in FarmingtonArcher Learning Center at 600 Ash St. in SpringdaleCalvary Church at 1000 N.
