A Philadelphia man has been sentenced to 120 months in prison for conspiring to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine.

30-year-old Nasir White previously pleaded guilty to one count of knowingly and intentionally conspiring to distribute and to possess with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine.

White's sentence was imposed in Camden federal court on Tuesday.

U.S. Attorney Philip Sellinger's office says on October 9, 2019, White and Shawn McGuriman were arrested with 204 grams of methamphetamine, which they planned to sell to another person.

McGuriman previously pleaded guilty to his role in the conspiracy and was sentenced in August 2021 to 10 years in prison.

In addition to the prison term, White must serve five years of supervised release.
