BERKELEY, N.J. (WCBS 880 News) -- An 81-year-old man was killed and a woman was wounded in a head-on crash in New Jersey on Tuesday, according to authorities.
According to Berkeley police, at about 2:40 p.m., a 61-year-old woman was traveling east in an SUV on Pinewald Keswick Road when she swerved into the westbound lane, striking a vehicle head-on.
The 81-year-old man man driving the car driving the car that was struck, died of his injuries, officials said.
The SUV driver was flown to Jersey Shore University Hospital to be treated for her injuries. The extent of her injuries weren't immediately clear.
An investigation remains ongoing.
