Cairn University Honors Program Preview Night set for Nov. 29

Prospective students will enjoy a tour, join the colloquium and interact with faculty

The Cairn University Honors Program is inviting prospective students to join for a preview of the Honors Program on Tuesday, Nov. 29, from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at the university, 200 Manor Ave. in Langhorne.

Following a campus tour, prospective students will join the colloquium to dine and join in the biweekly discussion. This semester, students have been reading about and considering the topic of “plague.” Following this event, students can interact with Honors Program faculty and have any questions answered about the academic experience at Cairn.

Interested students can register at cairn.edu/honors-night.

The Honors Program is a unique opportunity for students who maintain a GPA of 3.5 or higher to participate in biweekly colloquiums to eat and discuss with other Honors students and faculty. Students integrate all of their studies into a culminating Honors thesis at the end of their undergraduate program. The program is dedicated to engaging and challenging students to critically consider and discuss a chosen topic each semester. Students who participate receive a $2,000 annual scholarship.
