Francisca Abara Delo Santos, 101, of Captain Cook died Nov. 13 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Laoag, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, she was a housekeeper for the former Kona Hilton Hotel, coffee farmer, treasurer of the Ilocano Ancestry Club and member of St. Benedict’s Catholic Church. Visitation 8-10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church in Honaunau. Mass at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Kona Memorial Park in Holualoa. Casual attire; flowers welcome. Survived by son, Joey Delo Santos of Captain Cook; daughter, Charisee (Pampilo) Berganos of New York City; sister, Margartia Medina of Laoag; a grandchild; nieces, nephews and cousins. Richard Riuso Komo, 94, of Wailuku, Maui, formerly of Kona, died Oct. 18 at home. Born in Keopu, he was a retired 2nd Circuit judge on Maui. Visitation 9:30-11:45 a.m. Dec. 10 at Iao United Church of Christ in Wailuku. Memorial service 11 a.m. Casual attire. Survived by companion, Blanche Ito; daughters, Jacqueline (Gary) Murai, Susan (Robert) Kim and Karen Cooper; son, Lawrence Komo; brother, David “Masa” Komo; sister, Emiko Kaneko; sister-in-law Elaine Komo; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; a cousin, nieces and nephews.

Constance Anne Riley, 89, of Kailua-Kona died Oct. 31 in Kealakekua. Born in St. Petersburg, Fla., she was a seventh-grade science teacher at Jefferson Intermediate School in Midland, Mich., where she was named Teacher of the Year. Zoom services at a later date. Gwendolyn Louise Gonsalves San Nicolas, 81, of Wahiawa, Oahu, died Aug. 23. She was born in Ookala. Visitation 5:30-6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel on Oahu. Service at 6:30 pm. Burial 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7, at Mililani Memorial Park. Survived by sons, Patrick (Allison) San Nicolas and Jerry San Nicolas; daughters, Michele (Anthony) Lyons and Anela San Nicolas; brothers, Charles Gonsalves and Robert Gonsalves; sister, Eva (Mason) Makui; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
