Natasha Rothwell Comedy How to Die Alone Coming to Hulu

Natasha Rothwell is taking her talents to Hulu. 

Rothwell, known for series like Insecure and The White Lotus, will star in, write, and co-showrun How to Die Alone, a comedy that has received a series order from the streamer. 

Per Hulu and studio Onyx Collective, the half-hour comedy is set to follow Melissa (Rothwell), "a fat, Black, neurotic woman who has never been in love. After a comical brush with death, she refuses to settle for anything less than the life she wants, catapulting her on a journey to becoming '100 percent that bitch' in real life by any means necessary."

Vera Santamaria (Pen15) will serve as co-showrunner alongside Rothwell on the series, and both will executive produce the eight-episode season.
