NJPW Super Jr. Tag League 2022 Opening Night Lineup (11/21/22)

On November 21, NJPW kicks off its Super Jr Tag League Tournament at the legendary Korakeun Hall in Tokyo.

The winner of the Super Jr Tag League tournament will earn a shot at the current IWGP Jr Tag Team Champions TJP and Francesco Akira at Wrestle Kingdom 17 on January 4th 2023.

Many teams will be attempting to earn that opportunity including Impact Wrestling’s and Bullet Club members Chris Bey and Ace Austin, CHAOS members Lio Rush and YOH, Los Ingobernables de Japon’s Titan and BUSHI, KUSHIDA and Kevin Knight plus 6 other teams.

Here is the full lineup of matches scheduled for Super Jr Tag League Night 1:

  • Yuto Nakashima vs Kosei Fujita
  • Oskar Leube, Ryohei Oiwa, Tomoaki Honma & Togi Makabe vs Aaron Henare, Great-O-Khan, Kyle Fletcher & Mark Davis (United Empire)
  • Hiromu Takahashi, Shingo Takagi & Tetsuya Naito (Los Ingobernables De Japon) vs El Desperado, Taichi & Minoru Suzuki (Suzuki-Gun)
