SAN ANTONIO - A woman is in custody after a suspicious fire on the East Side.
The fire started just before 10 p.m. Wednesday at a home still under construction off South Gevers Street and Aransas Avenue.

It took crews about 25 minutes to put the fire out. They main danger was from the fire spreading to the construction sites of the neighboring homes still being built.
When crews were battling the fire, they spotted a woman in the fetal position in the back on the grass. She was taken into custody for questioning,
Firefighters said during their search of other buildings, they found rags soaked with gasoline and matches that they'll use as evidence to link to a potential arsonist.
