(Walhalla, ND) -- Frost Fire Park near Walhalla is canceling its season.
The Board of the Pembina Gorge Foundation runs the park and announced the decision Tuesday to close it after experiencing major malfunctions with the current snowmaking system.
The park is reviewing bids for new snow making equipment that would be installed in the spring. The board says federal and state grants will help fund the purchase.
Frost Fire Park is expected to reopen for the 2023-2024 season.
