There is an ongoing investigation in White County, where a property owner has discovered human skeletal remains: the GBI has been called in to help investigators in the White County Sheriff’s Office.

The White County Sheriff’s Office is investigating human skeletal remains found near Cleveland.
The remains were given to the GBI to be processed by the medical examiner.
Authorities say the skeletal remains were found on the side of the road by a property owner in the 6000 block of Duncan Bridge Road.
It’s unclear how long the remains had been there or how the person died.
The person has not been identified.
