Celebrities, including Boy Meets World’s William Daniels, celebrate 10th anniversary of Rhode Island Comic Con

PROVIDENCE, R.I (WLNE) — There were celebrities around every corner this weekend for the 10th anniversary of Rhode Island Comic Con.

ABC 6 News had a front row seat to all of it, including a one-on-one with one of the big stars from the weekend, William Daniels, who played Mr. Feeny in the hit 90s show, “Boy Meets World.”

“It was a very pleasant experience, and I loved working with the kids,” Daniels told ABC 6.

John Carroll Lynch, who starred on ABC’s “Big Sky” and “American Horror Story” was also a big hit.  He actually lived in Providence for a year working on another ABC show, “Body of Proof.”

“I loved Providence,” Lynch told ABC 6.  “I had this wonderful experience with the Providence Police Department. I was playing a cop and I rode around with the sergeant of detectives and he was like, ‘Oh, I’m embarrassed.’ I’m sorry there’s no crime tonight. I can’t bring you to any crime scenes, there’s nothing going on.”

Next year’s event has already been announced for the weekend of Nov. 3 through 5.
