Eyewitness News staple Sandy Kenyon asks $1.75M for Midtown apartment

You’ve seen him on television — and now his sanctuary away from the cameras can be your own.

One of the city’s best-known broadcast reporters, Sandy Kenyon of Eyewitness News, has listed his Hell’s Kitchen home for $1.75 million. If you don’t know the Princeton University alum from TV, you’ll remember him from 1010 WINS news radio — and his resume also includes positions at CNN and at the public broadcasting channel WNET in New York.

His unit has one bedroom, one full bathroom and a powder room across 919 square feet. Located at the Link, 310 W. 52nd St., it features stunning floor-to ceiling-windows that look out to wide Manhattan views, oak floors, an open kitchen with a glass tile backsplash and a windowed home office — the latter of which the listing notes is also a second bedroom.

The home opens to a foyer that leads to an open living and dining room. It also boasts the highest ceilings in the building, and additionally offers prime views of Central Park.

The 42-story building comes with 215 units. Built in 2005 and designed by Costas Kondylis & Partners and Gail Nauer Architects, it has a double-height lobby with floor-to-ceiling windows, large white columns and modern seating. There’s also a concierge, a gym, and a 3,200-square-foot landscaped garden terrace.

Kenyon and his wife, the best-selling author Eileen Goudge, bought the unit for $1.5 million in 2007, records show. The listing brokers are Chase Landow and Natalia Gonzalez of Serhant.
