More than half a year has passed since Vanderpump Rules’ Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz confirmed the news of their divorce in March. Since it’s “been [a while]” since she last updated fans on what her life is like now, Katie recently invited her 1.2 million Instagram followers to ask her anything.

Perhaps giving a glimpse at where she stands in her spiritual journey, Katie asked in her Instagram Stories for any of her followers who are “witches and / or lightworkers” to please DM her. Not to worry though: When one fan asked how she was doing, she replied, “[I’m] great,” adding a smiling emoji.

That, of course, could have something to do with her answer to the next question, “Are you dating?” Without giving away too much, the Vanderpump Rules cast member wrote, “Oui,” with a coy winking emoji.

Switching gears to her career, another commenter asked when her sandwich shop, Something About Her, is opening. Explaining that she and her castmate Ariana Madix are “working on it at the moment,” Katie promised to post an update when they have more info.

Noting that they were glad she’s doing well, another IG user broached the subject of whether or not Katie lost any friends after she and Tom filed for divorce. “I didn’t lose any friends,” she revealed, adding, “I just discovered who wasn’t my true friend in the end.”

One person she’s definitely maintained a friendly relationship with, however, is Tom. The Vanderpump Rules exes reached a divorce settlement in September, according to court documents obtained by E! News. Though the outlet also reported at the time that a judge still needed to sign off on the agreement, Katie and Tom reportedly waived any claims to current or future spousal support and stated they’d come to an uncontested agreement on the division of their shared assets.

Just weeks earlier, Tom appeared as a “special guest” on his ex’s You’re Gonna Love Me podcast to discuss how they were navigating the amicable split. “We are best friends,” Katie shared during the August 19 episode, noting that they were family “for many, many years” and that maintaining a friendship has “been a priority” for them after selling their Los Angeles home.

Tom, for his part, added, “I’m happy that we’re still close. I think, relatively speaking, we’ve done a damn good job divorcing each other.”

That silver lining alone should give them both something to smile about.
