Monday is the official observance of Columbus Day, and all Washington City offices and departments will be closed. There will be no trash pick-up by the City of Washington on Monday. Residents with Monday trash pick-up are asked to have their trash ready for pick-up by 7 a.m. on Tuesday. The Recycling Center will be closed Saturday, October 8, as well as on Monday.
