Tanya McQuoid-Hunt, played by Emmy winner Jennifer Coolidge, returns with a new cast that includes Aubrey Plaza and Theo James. Here's our quick description of The White Lotus Season 2's extended trailer.

The White Lotus Season 2 Could Expose Family Secrets

In Season 2, three generations of the Di Grasso family visit The White Lotus Sicily resort in Italy. It may appear to be "a fun boys trip," but it is far from that.

"We're on a family vacation right now and it's just the three of us because all the women in our family hate you," Adam DiMarco's character, Elbie, says to his father.

Dominic Di Grasso, played by Michael Imperioli, the father, is hiding a lot of things. He informs Valentina (Sabrina Impacciatore), the resort manager, that women would arrive and depart throughout the entire week. Mia and Lucia, played by Simona Tobasco and Beatrice Grannó, are seen leaving Dominic's room with money in one scene.

"A man does what he has to do, but you keep it tight," the eldest Di Grasso, Bert (F. Murray Abraham), tells Dominic. "If you're sloppy, it's like you're rubbing her face in it."

Although Bert warns Dominic to keep his indiscretions to himself, it is clear that this advice applies to many of the tourists. Then there is Elbie, who is comparable to Season 1's Quinn Mossbacher (Fred Hechinger).

A Suspected Affair

Tanya McQuoid ended The White Lotus Season 1 by embarking on a trip with her new boyfriend, Greg Hunt (Jon Gries). The two are now married, but their relationship is not without challenges. Greg complains to Tanya in the trailer about bringing her assistant on their vacation.

Tanya feels Greg is having an affair, while Greg is furious about the plus-one on their trip. Later in the teaser, she informs Quentin (Tom Hollander) of "a series of very bad decisions."

"You've had very bad luck," Quentin says. "The good thing about luck is that it can always change."

Even though Tanya thinks Greg is cheating, all we really see in the trailer is him on the phone in private. As usual, it appears as Tanya stresses herself out more by overanalyzing a problem that is obvious. We assume she will continue to lead a flashy, affluent lifestyle, creating issues where none exist and ignoring people who are in need of her assistance.

Tension Breaking Out Between Lovers

While on vacation, Daphne (Meghann Fahy) and Cameron Babcock join Harper (Aubrey Plaza) and Ethan Spiller (Will Sharpe) for a double date (Theo James). The two couples do, however, have their fair share of problems in the trailer for The White Lotus Season 2. The vacation was organized by Cameron, the arrogant husband, and Ethan, the opposite of him and a meek former college classmate.

"There's interesting stuff between Daphne and Ethan, and Harper and Daphne, and Harper and Cameron too — there's a whole spider diagram between these four, these two pairs, to look forward to," Sharpe told EW.

Ethan is a tech prodigy who recently sold his company and became a millionaire. Harper questioned Cameron's motives in asking them on vacation solely because Ethan is suddenly wealthy. Meanwhile, Cameron believes that now that Ethan is wealthy, he regrets marrying a "dud." He's eager to show his old (and now wealthy) pal a seductively good time.

When going to their dining table with his wife, Cameron winks at women and flirts with almost everyone. So it's not strange that he and Ethan get together for some fun with Mia and Lucia, Dominic's two neighbors.

Although Cameron is more than willing, Ethan appears to be anxious about the encounter. Cameron is sexually involved with a woman in the water while Ethan throws back shots and stumbles into the pool.

There is obvious infidelity everywhere, but will it catch up to them? The events that occurred that evening without Ethan's wife seem suspicious to her.

Death in The White Lotus Season 2

Although there is no way to predict who dies in The White Lotus Season 2, we can look at the longer trailer for hints. Although Ethan appears inebriated as he falls into the water, his wife asks him in another scene, "What happened last night?" and that means he's not the one who's being carried out in a body bag in the trailer.

Ethan places Cameron in a headlock and pushes him into the water in another scene. This might seem dangerous, but it's probably just another red herring.

According to EW's interview with the cast, Ethan and Harper don't seem to feel the same way about their relationship as Cameron and Daphne do. Cameron presumably put Ethan in a headlock after threatening to tell Ethan's wife about their wild night. Cameron isn't the one we think will die, either.

The White Lotus Season 2 premieres on HBO on Oct. 30.
