After Hurricane Ian threw a wrench into last week's plans, high school football is slated to return to normal on Thursday and Friday night as teams gear up for Week 7 of action. 

As we enter the seventh week of action, it represents the start of the back half of most team's schedules, meaning it's time to start thinking about playoff runs. 

The FHSAA released its second set of rankings on Wednesday afternoon. And of the top-10 ranked football teams in the Gainesville area, all would have a spot in the playoffs if they started today.
