MAP: Where the suspected Stockton serial killings happened, according to police
A “series of killings” in Stockton and Oakland dating back to 2021 all appear to be connected in some way, the Stockton Police Department announced in early October.
Five men were killed in Stockton and one man was killed in Oakland. Another woman who was shot in Stockton last year is also believed to be connected to these incidents.
Most of the victims killed were Hispanic men.

The five victims in Stockton were identified as:
- 35-year-old Paul Alexander Yaw
- 43-year-old Salvador William Debudey Jr.
- 21-year-old Jonathan Hernandez Rodriguez
- 52-year-old Juan Cruz
- 52-year-old Lorenzo Lopez
The victim in Oakland was a 40-year-old Hispanic man. Affiliate KTVU reported that the coroner identified the man as Juan Miguel Vasquez Serrano.
