A Teenager is dead after a single vehicle crash in the Upstate. Cherokee County Coroner's Office says, 17 year old Thomas Wesley Lee of Chesnee died after crashing his vehicle around 10:45 Thursday morning on Horse Creek Road.

The Coroner's Office says, another motorist reported that Lee was passing her on the two lane road and moments later lost control of his vehicle. He then ran off the road, the vehicle went airborne and hit a tree. Fowler says, the van caught fire after impact and Lee was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy is set to be performed on the victim.
